Our Story
Built by a MassMutual agency, for MassMutual agencies.
The FirmOS team, as it exists today, began as a thought experiment at Commonwealth Financial Group, MML AGY 008 in Boston. We started with a question familiar to many firms: How can we overcome fragmented systems, limited cross-department collaboration, and a lack of transparency across the agency?
Our goal was to leverage innovative technology to create a better way to house our data and improve tracking. After years of iteration, the FirmOS platform has become our solution—designed to interconnect the broader operational ecosystems within a MassMutual agency.
With support from the MassMutual Home Office, the FirmOS team has since grown into its own entity within Commonwealth Financial Group, dedicated to sharing our platform with other MassMutual agencies for the collective benefit of all.
